Its one of them moments when your heart melts with pride but also breaks, at nearly 19 she still learning to read and saying what she sees in the pictures... As I see so many others her age enrolling at uni today & starting a new chapter in their lifes. A chapter shell never get the chance to do! This is autism a roll coaster of broken dreams, emotions & at moments you cant help think what it would be like without the autism. Im fully aware it could be worse and Im grateful that its not...but I wont deny that I have these moments where I think & wonder what if she didnt have autism, but she has so we carry on with a smile on our face, hope in our heart, faith in our soul & nothing but unconditional love for my greatest gift..
