Its that time of year. Skunk season. This is the best remedy for getting the smell off your pooch that has been sprayed by a skunk. Ive used it several times and it definitely works. I even pack the ingredients with me when I go camping...just in case. Combine: 1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon liquid hand soap (not detergent). Bathe Pooch in the solution (be careful to avoid getting it in his eyes) and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Repeat if necessary. My dog is 60 pounds and I use the whole recipe and could probably use a little more but it still works. DO NOT store any leftovers. Happy Spring :)
