Its that time of year again where school is out and the Sandwell Young Carers Summer Scheme is in! So in the interest of summer fun we want to share with you all our plans for the coming weeks, hope to be seeing all of our happy members faces in attendance! Week 1 Games Week (21-25 July) 2.00-4.00pm Come along and take part in our games tournament and SYC Scavenger Hunt where we will be searching around the SYC Centre for clues. Prizes will be given, so come along and join in! Week 2 Art and Drama (28th July - 1 August) 2.00-4.00pm Come along and take part in our art and drama session here at SYC, we will be creating a scene from a musical and we need your help to make it the best that it can be so come along and take part! Week 3 Health and Safety (4-8 August) 2.00-4.00pm Come along and take part in our health and safety session where we will be going through how to keep yourself and others safe as well as looking at healthy lifestyle and diet habits. Week 4 Costume Design (11-15 August) 2.00-4.00pm If you are attending the summer party at the end of the summer scheme then you may want to create a new outfit at our art sessions where we will be making our very own clothing and showcasing our designs at the party. Week 5 Film Week (18-22 Augist) 2.00-4.00pm Come along and take part in our film week at SYC where you will have the opportunity to sit down, relax and have some fun. Week 6 Talent Show and Summer Party (wed 27-fri 29 August) 2.00-4.00pm Join in with our fun at the SYC talent show and party, whether you are performing a talent or just there to watch, we know it will be a fun filled day for everyone!
