Its the shortest day of the year, the day that I most look forward to in winter! The nights begin the slow draw out, and I start to think about the year thats ending and the year thats beginning. 2014 has been an incredible year with challenges I couldnt predict, achievements bigger than anything I ever dreamt of and new friendships that I treasure along with the old ones that remain. Im in a new city, more qualified, more experienced and blessed with a loving home. I thought my cup was pretty full last year but it must be an infinity cup as it just keeps on filling. I am a lucky lady. 2015 promises a whole new range of challenges, some scary and no doubt some I dont even know of yet. Realistically there is only one thing I would wish for myself, but its not something I control, so well see. Meanwhile Ill keep trying and keep focussed on my commitment to making a difference in the world. So today, a Yuletide greeting, embracing the Winter Solstice but a message to us all that change happens and its how we react that matters. Dont try and control it, try to figure out how you can work with it and truly, anything can happen.
