It’s no coincidence that in my 30’s God opened the doors for me to join the Eagles International Training Institute. You see, at about 30 years of age, an Eagle has to still away and go through a renewing and restoring period. But first, they have to go through the painful process of ripping out every feather that is tattered and worn. In essence, they have to rip away everything that weighs them down and can cause them to not fulfill their purpose and destiny. This last year has been my renewing time. In this time, I lost friends, I lost some of my old ways, and I lost sight of my past. But despite the pain that came with it, I gained covenant sisters, I found God, and I have clear vision of my future. I can’t believe that in 10 short days I will take one last leap out of the nest… But this time, as I stand on the edge ready to leap, I can finally spread my wings and SOAR!
