Ive decided that the scene in Vanilla Sky, where Tom Cruise has the weird face and is drunk, is the single greatest worst scene in cinema history. Though many scenes in this movie are as hideous as spilling acid on my hand, that one takes the cake. It encompasses poor direction, relentless attempts by an Actor to act, and trifling exchanges whereas at one point, when Cruise accuses Jason Lee of lying, Jason Lee denies and then looks down and to the left as if some director read a psychology book. I tried to watch this because I was bored and Netflixing, now Im only watching to see if that one scene can get topped. Because I think its definitely possible. Did anyone take this movie serious?
