Ive felt great all day... Until tonight. Barometric Pressure dropping below 30 = severe headache 😔 I can now tell the weather without watching it or checking an app. Jamie has the boys upstairs playing to keep them quiet. With all the rain moving in tomorrow, Im dreading it. Decompression surgery may have kept me from being paralyzed and living in constant pain, but this lovely side effect is NOT something I counted on. I know Ive complained a lot about these types of headaches after surgery, but its not getting any easier on me. Guess I just gotta suck it up and deal. Chiari is an ever going issue and even with surgery, its not a fix all, and its Just frustrating to realize that even though the surgery was a success, I will never be better in the normal sense. Still thankful for the good days and that I had the surgery, but its still frustrating that it cant be magically all better. And to boot, Ive had a lovely popping sensation in my head under my scalp that feels like bubbles popping for the last week or so. Its a totally normal part of healing but seriously one of the strangest sensations Ive ever felt. It completely freaked me out the first few times it happened! Lol hard to explain but odd, nonetheless! Anyway, vent/rant over. Just had to whine a bit 😉 Ive been so positive lately, I deserve a good poor, poor, pitiful me status every now and then, right?! Lol 😜❤️
