Ive seen enough of these posts used about slaves in an attempt to try and demonize the Bible. One must realize if he can take these scriptures and use them as fact then he must also take the rest of them and believe them as well, or should we just say that a hypocritical point if view is present? if you can say you dont believe the Bible then turn around and pull these scriptures out to try and prove a point, well it just seems a bit confusing. I mean are you saying that the Bible lies to us or tells the truth which one is it because it seems like youre playing both sides of the fence. I cant stop laughing because of this... okay lets just pause for a moment and look at the Photography thats present. notice that the model is African American and hes dressed in shackles of course this would be your 17th or 18th century slave and not one of a Biblical account. amazingly its processed in beautiful color Chrome digitally enhanced and then emotionally shadowed so that its just picture perfect, if you can imagine such a thing. unfortunately you have to ask yourself if you have any intelligence at all, what does a slave from the 17th and 18th century have to do with a biblical slave of thousands of years ago? dont worry, the answer is absolutely nothing this depiction here is based on the ignorance of someone who is trying to prey on someone elses ignorance. There were many slaves in the Bible who were very popular and if there were pictures of them you would see them adorned with gold necklaces bracelets and earrings as well. but that would defeat the purpose of this post. Since you want to believe this scripture let me share with you another. Allow me tell you a little diddy about Joseph. Joseph was one of the most popular slaves in the Bible. He didnt start as a slave but he became one, he was actually sold into slavery by his brothers. (Sound familiar?... oops) as a slave he rose to the position of (Viser) which is the highest position in Egypt under the ruler of Egypt. he oversees everything under that ruler. so the slaves here that the facebookers are trying to describe as Biblical are being falsely visulized for the purpose of utter deception. Some slaves were even held in high esteem as they were dressed with gold, rubies, pearls and the like. Its obvious that the slave in this image portrayed by the Facebookers is there to try and catch someone sleeping. someone who has never read a Bible let alone studying the original contents of it. theyre counting on you to be ignorant enough to absorb this nonsense, you choose.
