Ive seen so many negative remarks about Vance County because of todays incident in Kittrell.... I dont believe in publicly posting negative remarks about my home on the internet... That helps no one and makes the problem worse. Saying things such as typical Vance County is a ridiculous statement. The fact is that Vance County has made fantastic progress in reducing the violent crimes and improving the area. If you live here and make these remarks please keep in mind you are only hurting your own chances of progress.... Of job creation... Of property value increase.... Of more recreational activities.... If living here is so bad in your opinion please remember that I-85 runs both north and south. Instead of condemning the county why not build it up.... If you turned all your negative energy into positive energy maybe we could see the full change that we all could be proud of. Please no negative remarks... This is my opinion as much as you may have yours...
