I’m passionate about the books and shows I invest my time, money and emotions in, so for an author or showrunner to make fun of fans, belittle fans, make light of fans emotions or to taunt fans over a character who is loved or hated and what is to come for them or happened to them is deplorable. There is a difference between a teaser and out and out taunting. Authors/showrunners should be over the moon excited that they have created characters who garner such strong emotions and reactions, and they should show respect for their fans feelings not make light of it. Being the person I am, I won’t post bad reviews for the books out of spite, I wont publicly blast an author/show/book*, I just quietly stop buying an author’s books or watching their show. I’m not saying an author/showrunner should kowtow to fans but they should show them the respect due them. I may be just one fan, just one reader, just one blogger and they may never realize I quietly stopped being a fan and supporting them…I wonder how many more out there just quietly go away Iike I do?????? *except for SOA that show has me feeling ragey and stabby. And Kurt Sutter gives two shits about what people think...LOL Note: Please dont ask for names because Im not giving them. Sometimes I may take what is written on the internet not the way it was intended where others may get the way it was intended so I dont want to sway anyones opinion.
