JESSAMINE RESIDENTS TAKE NOTICE~ you are NOT allowed to leave any canine outside in extreme weather conditions.. Your dogs must be brought inside to safe conditions~GO JESSAMINE COUNTY Did you know that Jessamine County now has an ordinance that requires canines that are kept outside to have shelter? And did you know that Jessamine County also has an ordinance that states that it is unlawful to allow canines to remain outdoors during extreme weather conditions? Canines, must be moved indoors or to an area that provides protection from the extreme weather condition. The definition of extreme weather conditions is periods of time when weather conditions are such that a Heat Warning or Wind Chill Warning is issued by the National Weather Service. The national weather service has issued a wind chill warning that is in effect until January 8th at 10:00am. If you have animals outdoors please bring them inside.
