Jesus existed before the world:- John 17: 5 – And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. John 8:58 – “ I tell you the truth”, Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:3 – Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. Hebrews 1:1-2 - In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. Genesis 1:26 - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Notice the plural form here “Let us” indicating the Father & Son creating) More scriptures to show that He is God.:- Hebrews 1:3 – The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. Mathew 4: 5-7: Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God”, he said “throw yourself down. For it is written; “He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” And Jesus answered him, for it is also written “ Do not put the Lord your God to the test” Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a Child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder: and his name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 14:9 – Jesus answered, don’t you know me Phillip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? John 10:33 – “We are not stoning you for any of these”, replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” 1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Matthew 1:23 - Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Luke 7:16 - And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. John 10:30 - Jesus said: I and my Father are one. 1 John 5:7 - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one Mark 14:61-62 - Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I Am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 2 Corinthians 4:4 ... lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them 1 Timothy 6:15 ...who [Jesus] is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords. Hebrews 1:8 – But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever.” Titus 2:13 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:16 - And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. John 8:23-24 – But he continued, “You are from below, I am from above. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any that belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” He replied. 1 John 5:20 - And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, so that we may know him that is true. And we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God, and eternal life.
