JOB VACANCY: 17th June 2013 Vacant Position: Junior Accountant Job in Kenya (KShs 50K - 70K) Junior Accountant Salary 50,000 - 70,000 Our client is a leading supplier of office furniture, kitchen and bathroom fittings in the Kenya. They not only supply office furniture but also design and produce modular furniture using hi-tech equipment in Kenya. They are looking to recruit a Junior Account to work in the accounts office. They shall be assisting with the following duties. Key Duties and Responsibilities · Bank reconciliation · Establish internal controls by recommending policies and procedure to be adopted · Handle statutory returns · Assist in payroll preparations · Help in the preparation of Budgets · Preparations and reviewing of income statements and statement of financial positions and give quarterly financial forecast · Assist in audit preparation work · Maintain accounting records and reconciliation controls of approved budgets · Cost accounting · Facilitate stocktaking activities · Any other duty assigned from time to time Required Qualifications ·Minimum Diploma in accounting · Preferred CPA section 2 or equivalent · 1- 2 years experience in accounting · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office · Proficiency in accounting packages · Suitable candidate should be of unquestionable integrity · They should also be dynamic and a team player · Should also have experience in internal auditing and in all areas of accounting ·Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment · Have high good attention to detail ·The candidate must be very reliable and energetic If you meet the above requirements send your CV only, to vacancies@corpo ratestaffing.co.ke, indicating the title (Junior Accountant Salary) on the subject line
