JUST ONE TOUCH! Friends. Have you ever heard the phrase: He looks just like his Father? Well we are going to meet a woman that is a picture of all people. Luke 8:43-48; Tells the story of the woman with an incurable disease ( sickness ). She spent all she had on physicians. She was ceremonially unclean. She was in great trouble. This woman was in a place of Desperation, Determination, seeking her Deliverance which would demand her declaration. This woman had three major problems that every human being experience some time in this life. 1. She was Physically desperate, her health was gone. 2. She was Financially desperate, her money was gone. 3. She was Ceremonially unclean, she could not enter into the presence of God. All of us like this woman, Physically are ever moving towards death. Financially, money cannot buy what we need. And Spiritually, Sin separates us from God. Learning about Jesus The Master Physician, she thought within herself; if I can but touch the hem of his garment, I will be made whole. Here we see faith in action. This woman did not allow anything or anyone to discourage her from coming to Jesus. The great crowd of people could not stop her. The attitude of His disciples could not stop her. The importance of His mission could not stop her. Her own appearance: pale and poor did not stop her from pressing her way to meet Jesus. Her deliverance came from contact with Jesus.
