JV girls miss SSC title by a half-point Congratulations to head coach Lisa Rybak and the JV girls badminton team on an outstanding performance at the SSC meet. The Astros, who outpointed TF South (last years varsity state champion, if you did not know), took second place and missed the conference title by a half-point. Besting T.F. Shepard teams took fifth at #2 doubles, fourth at #4 Doubles, and Maryam Sandoka and Samah Rafati took third at #5 doubles. The team produced an outstanding effort in the singles matches.
