Jeanetta Phyllis Kennedy, 95, of Kingwood, Texas (formerly of Joplin, Missouri) entered into eternal rest on Monday August 11, 2014 at her home in Kingwood, Texas. She was born in Joplin, Missouri on July 31, 1919, the daughter of the late Arch C. and Flora A. (Miller) Drury. She was a retired IRS Tax Examiner. Jeanetta is survived by one son: Duane Kennedy of Plano, Texas; three daughters: Sissy Kennedy of Kingwood, Texas, Barbara Moon of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Donna Kennedy of Lenexa, Kansas; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents: Arch and Flora and her husband Donald F. Kennedy. No visitation is being held for Jeanetta. Graveside services are being held on Friday August 15, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett, Missouri with Rev. Jimmie Copley officiating.
