Jerry had to go to the ER twice last week due to swelling in his legs and feet. This does not appear to be from an injury, but possibly an auto immune disease or infection. His left leg was 3 times its normal size at one point, oozing fluid and hes unable to walk or even lift himself up to potty. He is too tiny for most available medications so he has betadine and starting today Epsom salt soaks 3 times a day. Those help with the swelling and germs that might make the infection worse. His foster mom keeps him with her all the time, being held seems to be his only comfort. He will need continued care to get him through this.
