Jesus was crucified on a CROSS not a STAKE: as one put it, Thomas - TopicsExpress

Jesus was crucified on a CROSS not a STAKE: as one put it, Thomas who had not seen the Risen Lord with the others voiced his skepticism (John 20:25). The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” Notice it says the print of the nails not nail. This is not singular, so Thomas knew how he had been crucified, with his arms outstretched, not with them being together like the feet. This would take two nails not a single nail as it would through the feet. Thomas used the word “nail,” in the plural form but “imprint” is singular, indicating a separate nail punctured each hand leaving a single mark in each hand. Furthermore, Jesus has shown many in dreams and visions the symbol of a cross not a stake. Dont believe deception!
