Jim Duff and the Stonehill College baseball team have been training with Owner and Sports Performance Director, Peter Rappoli, MS, CCS, CSCS. Stonehill College junior and right handed pitcher, Duff was selected by the New York Mets in the 20th round (595th overall) of the Major League Baseball (MLB) First Year Player Draft this afternoon. Here is what Duff had to say about training at Elite – Foxboro: Thanks to my training with Pete Rappoli, I was able to reach the next level in my strength, explosiveness, and overall conditioning. I saw tremendous results, and I reaped the benefits throughout the entire season. Prior to my junior year at Stonehill College, Major League Baseball scouts told me I needed to get stronger in order to be considered a serious prospect. After an off season with Pete, I felt like a new player; I saw considerable improvements in both my velocity and overall stamina. In June 2014, I was drafted by the New York Mets, fulfilling a lifelong goal. I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today without Pete Rappoli and his staff! espn.go/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/88640/mets-execs-weigh-in-on-ny-draft-picks
