Job Available - DealOn Pakistan (Private) Limited “Job Available: Assistant Manager, Business Development, Karachi DEALON PAKISTAN (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“DO”) is a fast growing daily-deals provider in Karachi with offices in London and a UK investor base. DO is in the process of transforming retail business in Karachi (see dealon.pk) and has strong plans to expand across the country and internationally. As such, we require an energetic and self-motivated business development gentleman (no ladies) in Karachi to be inducted as Assistant Manager (AM), Business Development in the Company. The AM will be hired within DO’s MA programme that’s a fast track management development programme that seeks to induct and train according to international management standards, extremely ambitious, high performance, high commitment and high-potential candidates, who are judged by DO to have the ability to rapidly develop into future management of DO. Successful candidates will be heavily trained and will be expected to immediately show performance so that they may be promoted to Manager grade in a year and Territory Manager in 2 years. The DO MA programme is modeled on a similar programme maintained by Citibank N.A. Job Description: Successful candidate would undertake the following responsibilities: Independently pitching to and executing deals with target merchants for featuring on DO website Conducting meetings and presentations (3-4 a day) with target merchants daily to meet given Monthly Sales Targets by active and sophisticated sales effort towards the DO target market of merchants and business categories. This is a commercial and corporate sales job so largely involves client/merchant meeting/presentation and communication activity. Maintain daily Sales MIS and ensure timely submission to the management on daily basis Handle and ensure proper documentation with DO Merchants in line with DO Policy Job Requirements: Men only, with 1-3 years of experience in a commercial/corporate sales role. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in English Naturally outgoing and sociable personality. Candidate to be available for joining immediately. Strong ability and passion to learn and for professional excellence Aggressive, self-starter, self-confident and result oriented. Ability to work from home with total discipline. Ability to work in and manage an international environment involving GMT time-zone (UK) apart from PST (Pak) Strong negotiation and Corporate Selling Skills Should have car, laptop, perfect home broadband internet and back-up power generation (to guard against load-shedding) & 3G-enabled smartphone at his/her disposal Should have strong understanding and comfort with the internet The Job offers competitive monthly salary subject to candidate profile and significant additional monthly performance incentive (sales commission) arrangement.
