Start Date: Mutual start date will be agreed upon Number of Openings: 1 Job Description: Oversee execution of statistical analyses, preparation of the statistical methods and study reports, and production of overall summaries. Review and approve topline results memos and statistical conclusions. Develop and coordinate optimal workflows between departments with a data component (e.g., CQA, Data Management, Research & Training), based on the strategic initiatives of the ProPhase science division. Elicit feedback from company to assess organizational needs. Oversee the building and testing of statistical models via analytic engines, simulating potential impact of training solutions and scientific recommendations. Identify and implement statistical solutions and techniques to answer questions in clinical research and those posed by engine analytics. Oversee and manage the development of tools addressing unmet methodological and measurement needs in the clinical trial space. Oversee the timely execution of data management programs (internal and external) and clinical data validation services. Ensure that high standards for research publications and scale development efforts are established and consistently met. Provide scientific inputs in the development of key control documents (e.g., data management plans and related documents). Work closely with other company divisions and senior management to develop and implement programs and strategies, as needed. Lead systematic professional development and provide strong support .for direct reports and other members of the science division. Maintain awareness of industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Job Requirements/Qualifications: The candidate must have advanced degree with at least 9+years of progressive experience in clinical research, statistics, academic biomedical or mental health research, or in the pharmaceutical services industry or in a related industry. In addition: At least 5-7 years in in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, CRO, or related environment. Proven leadership capabilities. Experience working with large datasets. Proven track record in building internal capability. A thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and terminology, understand the drug development process and the role of sponsors, sites, CROs, and other stakeholders in that process. Working knowledge of GCP, ICH, 21 CFR part 11, or other international regulations. Working knowledge of industry data standards such as SDTM, AdAM, CDISC, CDASH, or HL7. Experience in programming and statistical modeling preferred (may include SAS, SPSS, R, Access, Macro, Stat, ODS, Graph). Excellent written and oral communication skills, organization, interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds – writing sample will be required for consideration.
