Jon and I have a fun weekend planned for Jackson and Taylor and they have no idea! They have been such troopers for over half a year now in our new normal. When we hear them stirring in bed in the morning, we are going to text them this poem. Cannot wait!!!! Happy Easter! He is risen, indeed. He has blessed us abundantly and met every need. Jesus died for our sins and gave us His love So we know that ALL good things come to us from above. These past 6 months have been hard on us all Daddy got sick, and was in the hospital. Through every moment, God has been here Providing for our needs and holding us near Jackson and Taylor, you 2 have been the best! Helping around the house, not getting much time to just rest You’ve loved on the babies, cleaned up your room We’ve even seen you using a broom :) To thank you for being so lovely and kind We planned a fun weekend – but we’re keeping you blind We’ll give you a clue one step at a time It’ll be lots of fun and it will always rhyme. Well first thing’s first: It’s an egg hunt for you Search the house for some eggs, and your Easter baskets too Then we’ll head off to church – worship God to start our day Then drive to San Diego because it’s time to play We’ll see Papa and Mimi and your cousins too Then we’ll give you the next poem that will reveal what’s next to do.
