June 12- Summer Festival Teaser- (only 30 days to go) ARTS, CRAFTS IN IVES PARK The annual Arts & Crafts Fair is an open-air extravaganza that has become an integral component of the SummerFest since its inception nearly 46 years ago. It remains one of the biggest draws to the Potsdam Summer Festival. Stroll into Ives Park to see dozens of artists and crafters display and sell their handcrafted items from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. In rain or shine, local artisans offer a variety of items: maple products, ceramics, wood crafts, photographs, textile designs, woolen mittens, jewelry, and much, much more. Stop by, enjoy some shade and see the many talented crafters and artisans featured in the North Country. ANTIQUE CAR SHOW SATURDAY (insert photo???) Potsdam Antique and Classic Car Show will convene in Ives Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traditionally there have been over 60 cars register for the show. Organized by the St. Lawrence Adirondack AACA, the antique and classic car show is a big hit for young and old alike! Participants of the car show are given a dash plaque, goody bag, and a gift certificate redeemable at the show. To participate in the show, contact George Cox (268-0056). Cars may also register that morning before the show. Cars must be at least 25 years old to be included. Enjoy!
