Just experienced the most frightening and scariest thing tonight. - TopicsExpress

Just experienced the most frightening and scariest thing tonight. I got on the freeway heading towards i5 North driving on the left shoulder of the freeway only to see ahead of me that there was a bad car accident that just happened on the opposite side of the freeway. I look slightly to my left just to see what happened and within those seconds I ran over a debris that came from that collision. I hear a big loud boom from underneath my car and moments later, I find out that my front left tire blew out. I FREAKED OUT and my anxiety came over me. I began to cry and literally started hyperventilating. I slowly merge through lanes just to park my car safely on the right shoulder with my blinkers on. Just a bit of distance ahead of me I saw a Mercedes parked learning that he too had ran over the same debris on the freeway. Thanks to my sister Es L Perez for coming to my rescue like she always does.. (You are truly the #1 person in my life that I can truly rely and depend on and I love you to death and am so blessed and lucky that youre my sister) Moments later Im sitting in my car still with my seat belt on trying to calm down and trying to process what just happened and a trooper comes to my passenger window. He explained to me what happened and that he would give me all the necessary information that was needed to file a claim only to have learned that the person who was involved in that car accident was in his car with his car flipped over. I was saddened and only hoped he was ok The trooper was nice enough to volunteer and actually help me get my car off the freeway just so that he can put a spare tire on my car. I had no idea what I was doing or was supposed to do. I have never been in this kind of predicament before.... I felt hopeless and dumb founded, but with the help that was given to me and the presence of my sister, bf and the police man, thats what mattered most to me because I wasnt alone.. Every time Ive ever came face to face with a police man, Ive never had any negative comments to say about them. I find all of my situations that they were always helpful. Not all cops are bad; and I am just so glad that I havent came across one yet that has made me think otherwise. Im so blessed to be alive alongside with my boyfriend who was my passenger. The only person i can truly thank for saving me is the man above. Thank you God, for saving my life.. Experiences like this really does teach you lessons in life, hence to truly be thankful for your own life and simply just to not take life for granted and to continuously count your blessings.
