Just flown from hong kong to okinawa, 12 knot winds. Flown a B767 and here is the moral of the story: After you de-crab, get that damn thing on the runway before it starts to drift, also land on your upwind wheel first to prevent skidding. I floated after de-crabbing and landed left of the centerline, not fun I used flaps 25 only so I can use a higher approach speed and it means that I have greater control, its for safety. -- Head of flight training
