Just happened to watch Satyamev Jayate (season 2) - Kings - TopicsExpress

Just happened to watch Satyamev Jayate (season 2) - Kings everyday. Its really a highly recommended for each and every being who has feelings for country and yet ignored Corruption which is paralyzing our beloved nation to a huge extent. The show starts by figuring out our national economic strength (reserves, etc) and dividing this figure with our sprawling 125 crore peoples we have, Surprisingly the estimation makes each head a Crorepati!! But still real picture is upside-down. Its Certain that India is rich so we Indians are, but we have been deprived. Then it shows how our lok-shahi has became just a vote-shahi. The revolution to legislate RTI, Schemes like NREGA - Attempt to divert money which is supposed to be spent for some worthy cause, and many more. The part I liked the most in it is when the woman-activist says that I dont hesitate to take hisaab from my child each time whenever he returns from market, then why I will spare this government which eats on my money for the sake of development and does scams instead!!. While watching I realized how the show reflects the same learning I made by studying Arvind Kejriwal and AAP for few months. The concept of Swaraj which AK portrayed in his book Swaraj is actually practiced in a village named Adad in state Kerala! Adad gives Swaraj - a hypothetical term for today a reality of tomorrow for rest of India. After watching it, seeing some success stories, I truly felt good that I was associated with such a revolution that really knows the ground reality and are working for better India! How things in paper are different on ground? How our system makes a mockery of term called democracy?. The show also condemns our deeprooted habit of blaming government for every menace hereby we willingly withdraw our powers in order to make things work rightly and thus render ourselves on a safer side. For all who thinks that I am praising Arvind Kejriwal, please hold its show of Aamir Khan ( your favorite Adam) who is not prejudiced of AK! Believe me! Its true! Its neither a chance nor a luck, that show reveals the same ill-effects of Corruption which Arvind Kejriwal is screaming and howling since couple of years. But its rather the Truth and Truth cannot have two faces. If you are still not believing, then read his book Swaraj and watch show simultaneously, you will get the true picture of India. If watching show is stealing moments, please watch last two-three minutes in which Amir Khan shares the humorous but highly meaningful story that shows our real state. One cant resist but have to embrace this story that narrates our state so truly. After watching show, It amazed me a lot that how people have voted this time without taking Corruption as a major concern. Its very saddening. Packing thus, the show truly motivates one to take responsibility and start something. Irrespective of what the condition of India is in reality, I learned never to be cynical and it had filled me with a lot of enthusiasm to give life a worthier direction. Just *fingers crossed* that some seeds be grown :) :)
