Just in case you missed it.. Heres a report on last nights event which we have just submitted to the press.. Teesside based business ONLINE CAR BOOTY has teamed up with a friends 5 year old son in a bid to help their business grow. onlinecarbooty started last May which is proving to be one of the fastest growing buying and selling websites in the UK. Online Car Booty runs every Sunday 3pm-Midnight, just like a real car boot sale and features virtual paste tables.. Just like the real thing ! Despite the site having a staggering 17,000 Likes on Facebook and thousands of buyers and sellers, the company wanted to increase publicity so they called in a friends son ‘Beau Thirsk’ from Durham for help. Beau aged 5 is a genius on a Snooker table and is tipped to be a future champion in the sport. Seeing his potential, Online Car Booty have sponsored Beau and he now sports an ‘Online Car Booty’ badge on his waistcoat. On Thursday evening Beau teamed up with Steve Davis in a doubles game playing against Jimmy White and another member of the public at Spennymoor Leisure Centre. In front of hundreds of spectators, little Beau managed to pot a number of reds and colours before the Whirlwind and his partner took advantage on the last black. The event was part of the ‘Snooker Legends’ tour and also featured John Virgo on commentary and Michaela Tabb as referee. Davis also competed against White in a singles match at the event and lost out 7-1 to the Whirlwind, with Jimmy knocking in an outstanding century break in the last frame. With this event and other limelight which Beau is currently enjoying, Visitors to Online Car Booty have rocketed ! Online Car Booty have also just won a ‘Scoot Headline Award’ in their search for the UK’s best businesses. PHOTOGRAPHS BY STEPHEN SCOTT, NORTH YORKSHIRE LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY.
