Just over an hour ago, I found our first and oldest mouse Hagrid, passed away in his home, at 20 months old. Many people might think but its just a mouse..., but he wasnt just any old mouse - he was OUR mouse, and he was the friendliest, cutest little thing you could imagine, with such a big personality (and appetite!). I just wish I was there to hold him when he passed. I dont even know when he went, or if it was peaceful for him. I feel responsible because I was supposed to ring the vet on Friday to have him put to sleep... His man bits had prolapsed again and he was holding his ears flat so we knew it was time :( We are really, really going to miss him :(
