Just read on FB this morning that a friend and her family had just returned on island after a Christmas vacation to find their home had been tossed upside down and burglarized. What a horrible thing to come home to. Among the items stolen were a Sony flatscreen TV, a Dell Netbook, and an MK purse. Please keep an eye out for these items. And if you know someone who is selling these items, please report them. If you do not, all you are doing is enabling them and allowing them to continue to steal from others. How long will it be until they steal from you??? Getting tired of all these burglaries and break-ins. It is high time we put some teeth in to laws and properly punish career criminals. If you want to resort to a life of crime, then your life belongs behind bars! Everyone is entitled to make mistakes and I firmly believe in rehabilitation, but if you thumb your nose at the judicial process and make a mockery out of it by going right back in to crime, then go directly back to jail and stay there. We need to give more support to the Neighborhood Watch Program and we need stiffer penalties for career criminals and we need to start turning in criminals. Yes, it is our business.
