Just tucked in all the chickens and sheep. The pup is sound asleep. Took her in the pen with me today. She and Zach were nose to nose. He snorted and she yipped and that was about it. They are not too sure of one another. I am glad it went well. They are starting to settle in and trust us, I should be able to pasture them in about a week. I had no idea how much they drink they are like camels. It is so cool in the barn. Great cross breeze. They are great with all of the visitors. I have so many orders for eggs and honey I cant keep up and I am scrambling to get things ready for the fair. Finishing up summer school this week for a while and will resume again in mid August. We have been studying Ancient Rome and made togs today. We are having a toga party with parents on Friday. We are serving bread with honey, fruits and vegetables and performing raps, poems, and readers theater so the parents can see what we have learned. we are making a model of an aqueduct tomorrow. It has been fun I will miss these kiddos. It was a nice way to spent the summer. I am in class all next week and not looking forward to it. These days I am a better teacher than a student. It is great to learn new things and I think it is important but I also think the best learning experience I have is in my own classroom. The last 22 years should count for something!
