Just wanted to give an update on dad...first of all though our family would like to say thank you to everyone for all of the calls, texts, visits, and messages. They are so encouraging and appreciated more than you know! At 3:00am yesterday morning dad woke up in extreme pain and after 3 hrs of working to calm him down and ease his pain, he finally fell asleep. From 6am on he slept and would not wake up. He became unresponsive and his breathing became labored. Hospice crisis care was called in and they will be staying with us around the clock. According to the hospice nurse dad is showing several signs of declining quickly. Today although he is very confused, he is more alert and able to talk with us. The doctors are saying there is a big difference from yesterday and said he could be in a Plateau and could decline very quickly with no notice. So he is being watched closely. Right now we are praying for peace and comfort for him. He has been in a lot of pain. Again thank you all for all of the prayers! I will do my best to keep everyone updated.
