Just wanted to update everyone. There is not much to report as Jaime is hanging in limbo right now. She met with one oncologist that has ordered a PET scan and a biopsy of the lung. Tomorrow she has an appointment at the Hillman Cancer Center for another opinion. Once the PET Scan and biopsy are done, they will decide on a course of action. Jaime is recovering nicely from the brain surgery and is feeling more like herself each day. She was able to go with her entire family to celebrate her moms birthday at the casino on Sunday. It was a long couple of hours but she was dressed and felt human. Although she was exhausted she was glad to get out of the house. ON A NOT SO GOOD NOTE: To those of you that feel the need to contact Jaime privately to judge or criticize what she is doing during this process, please remove yourself from this page. Jaime is 37 years old and is going to bounce back from a surgery much faster than someone in their 50s or 60s. It is none of your business on how she spends her time or for you to judge that she is out and about after a surgery. I assure you that she is following doctors orders and is not overdoing it. She has no idea what she is facing at this point and plans on TRYING to live life as normally as possible until she knows exactly what she is dealing with. If you contact her with or post any negative remarks on this page, you will be immediately blocked from this page. She does not need the negativity right now. None of us know how we would react or respond to a situation like this so please do not judge. What she needs right now is love, support and prayers!
