KNOW YOUR GOD AND BE SAVED In the name of God, the Most Gracious, - TopicsExpress

KNOW YOUR GOD AND BE SAVED In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Do you really know God? ….Before you conclude your answer, check the Message below….. A lot of us think we know God but we really don’t. Knowing God is the most important thing in our life, without this, we can never worship Him correctly. The consequence of not worshipping God rightly is perishing in this world and relegation in the next world. Having proper understanding of our True Lord, how Honorable and Majestic He is, will definitely make us to love Him and serve Him correctly. The only way to learn about our Creator (who provides for us, protect us and sustain all His creation simultaneously without getting tired) is through the people He sent to us. One of those messengers is Christ Jesus “The son of Mary”-the Messiah (May peace and blessings of God be upon him) who was reported to have said in John 6:38: “For I come down from heaven not to do mine own will but THE WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME”. He also said in John 4:34 that “My meat is to do the WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME”. In these and many other verses, Jesus Christ claimed to be “a servant of God” since he was not free to fulfill his own will (desires). Jesus (PBUH) was also reported to have said in the Qur’an that “I am a servant of God, He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet” This is found in Suratul Mar’yam Verse 30 (Suratul Mar’yam means “Chapter of Mary”- 19th Chapter of the Qur’an). All these evidences make it clear that Jesus Christ (the son of Mary) was actually sent by God (i.e a Messenger of God). Let’s now examine how Jesus who was sent by God described God. According to the bible, Jesus preached complete Monotheism meaning “Oneness of God”. Some of these verses include John 17:3 where Jesus said: “And this is life eternal, that they might know you THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, WHOM YOU HAVE SENT.” Mark 12:29 reads: “And Jesus answered him: The first of all commandments is, Hear O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.” Note: Jesus did not say: “The Lord our God is three” nor include himself as one of the three gods (in Trinity). My beloved reader! Know that: your God, thy Lord is One, and do not worship anything beside Him. Isaiah 46:9 reports that God Almighty (free from all imperfection) says: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else, I am God, and there is none like me” (check also Qur’an 114:1-4). Deuteronomy 4:35 says: “the Lord is God, THERE IS NONE ELSE BESIDE HIM”. See also Exodus 8:10, which similarly inform us that Our God, the Lord of the world is One and there is no one like Him, whether in shape, size, knowledge, power e.t.c. And nothing happens in this world except by His permission; just like Jesus said in John 5:30 that: “I CAN OF MY OWN SELF DO NOTHING: (Note: Jesus claimed to be absolutely powerless and also depended on God’s power). The God of Mankind is one, not three, and He Alone deserves all thanks, praises and worship. All the verses quoted above makes it sufficiently clear beyond any reasonable doubt that God is ONE, Jesus was His Messenger and there is NONE like God (in size, shape, form or power and other attributes). Since according to in Mark 12:29, Jesus Christ confirmed that the first (and the greatest) of all commandments is: “The Lord our God is one Lord“, and he also testified that He came to fulfill all the Commandments of Moses according to Mathew 5:17, therefore whoever misses this (first commandment) is certainly seeking his/her path to Hell in the next life. Jesus Christ said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill… Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Mathew 5:17, 19) Despite the fact that these verses are very clear in the bible, but yet many Christians who claim to be Christ’s followers have abandoned them in order to follow the ideology of Trinity which was forced into Christianity by Emperor Constantine in 325CE at the first ecumenical council in church history, for the purpose of settling the disputes about the nature of God that arose between various Christian sects, while Jesus who was sent by God described Him to be One. Now that it is clear that the description of God by Jesus contradicts the Church’s description of God. Therefore this calls for personal reflection. Jesus Christ (PBUH) did not know (or preached) the so called “Trinity” in his time according to the bible, it was only some years after his departure that the church imposed this dogma on the people claiming “It’s a Mystery that could not be explained, you just have to believe it blindly” Today many Christians idolize Jesus Christ and elevate him to God’s Status (as in Trinity), though Jesus never said in the bible “I am God, worship me”. And Jesus Christ never worshipped himself, but rather he worshipped God and instructed men to worship Him alone. He said in Luke 4:8 that: “For it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt you serve.” According to Mathew 19:16-17, it reads thus: “One came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he (Jesus) said unto him, while callest me thoume good? THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD. But if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments.” Jesus said in Matthew 15:8-9: “this people honor me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. BUT IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME BECAUSE THEY TEACH COMMANDMENT OF MEN AS DOCTRINES” “And (remember) when Allâh will say (on the Day of Resurrection): O Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allâh? He will say: Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say)…” Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allâh) did command me to say: Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things. (Qur’an 5:116-117) [Note: In Aramaic, a language closely related to Arabic which Jesus (PBUH) habitually spoke; God is also referred to as Allah.] God created us with the ability to think and reason as He said in Isaiah 1:18: “come now, and let us reason together ...” It is your personal responsibility to decide either to follow the Church or follow God’s revelation through Jesus Christ (PBUH). The Bible says in Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Thousands of various singular personal pronouns are used for God in the Bible e.g “I’, “Me”, “Myself”, “Thee”, “Thy”, “Him, “His”, Himself”. (Not less than 6700 times) O Reader! Kindly answer the following simple questions sincerely: • If the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Moses (and other prophets…-peace be unto them all) before the time of Jesus was only One God, did He suddenly become three at the arrival of Jesus in the world? • And when Jesus was a baby sucking the breast of his mother like every child does, was he God (or part of Trinity) at that period? • How could human being which God has endowed with high thinking faculty accept a dogma (i.e The Trinity) which is mathematically absurd (1=3), scientifically unproven and spiritually blind? [Remember, the bible says: “God is not the author of confusion” (1Corinthians 14:33)] “And of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides God as rivals (to Him), THEY LOVE THEM AS THEY LOVE GOD. But those who believe love God more (than anything else)…” (Qur’an 2:165) “O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with the truth from your Lord, so believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to Allâh belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allâh is Ever All¬Knowing, All¬Wise” (Qur’an 4:170) “So, as for those who believed in Allâh and held fast to Him, He will admit them to His Mercy and Grace (i.e. Paradise), and guide them to Himself by a Straight Path. (Qur’an 4:175) “Surely, they have disbelieved who say: Allâh is the Messiah [Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary). But the Messiah [Iesa (Jesus)] said: O Children of Israel! Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord. Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers) there are no helpers.” “Will they not repent to Allâh and ask His Forgiveness? For Allâh is Oft¬Forgiving, Most Merciful.” “The Messiah [Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allâh and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allâh does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).” “Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): How do you worship besides Allâh something which has no power either to harm or to benefit you? But it is Allâh Who is the All¬Hearer, All-¬Knower. (Qur’an 5:72-76) I think all this should convince the open minded person who God wants to guide (for He is the only One that guides whoever He wishes). Do not let others judge or make a decision for you. Mr. Thomas, a former Christian stated in his book: “why I chose Islam” that: “After coming across so many strong and unbreakable arguments against the doctrine of Holy Trinity and also about many other fundamentals of Christian belief, I only wondered how such an unreasonable faith could attract such a huge number of people”
