Kansans Against Common Core did a survey to ALL Kansas Primary Candidates. I will post the ones that effect our district. Both Ed Trimmer and Larry Alley were invited to participate, so far only Larry Alley has completed the survey. No Q4: Do you believe it should be a parents right to opt out a student from the Common Core (Kansas Career and Ready Standards) aligned high-stakes testing and also opt out a student from the State Longitudinal Database system that currently tracks all students without parental consent? Q6: Do you support the removal of laws that interfere with a parents natural right to oversee every aspect of his childs education, including curriculum, assessments, data tracking, teacher selection, school selection, etc.?
