Karlstad, Minnesota farmer Curt Aakre has finished his harvest and says he was satisfied with his soybean yields. “They’re better than average. Considering the amount of rain we had, we’re very satisfied. Our sugarbeets did well. It’s always fun at the beginning of the year to start working the soil and you never know what the year’s going to turn out. But at the end, it’s always good to be done too. We’re busy putting on fertilizer, working our fields, doing some ditching and things like that around here.”
