Kick : Salman Khan, Jacqueline to start shooting in Britain by July-end Posted by Kanchana Devi Mumbai, July 3 (TruthDive): Kick produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, will begin its first schedule from July 24 onwards. Kick is an upcoming Bollywood comedy action thriller film starring Salman Khan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles along with Randeep Hooda in a supporting role, while Mahesh Manjrekar plays the villain. It is directed as well as produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Kick is an official remake of Telgu blockbuster film ‘Kick’ which was released in 2009 and features Ravi Teja and Illeana D’cruz (Barfi) in lead roles. The Bollywood hottie, Jacqueline Fernandez is said to be very excited about the project which will go on floors by the end of this month and the first schedule of shooting would be shot in Britain. Jacqueline Fernandez, former Sri Lankan beauty queen, had been enjoying a good time in Bollywood professionally as two of her movies, ‘Housefull 2′ (2012) and ‘Race 2′ (January 2013), made it to the Rs 100-crore club and now she has landed a project with one of the most sought after actors in the Hindi film industry. The film is now in pre-production stage. The film’s crew are currently hunting for locations in the UK. They have been in London for over a month finding suitable places to shoot. Both director Sajid Nadiadwala and director of photography Ayananka Bose spent time in London blocking scenes for the movie. Reports say, they have also travelled up to Glasgow. Sources also added that the British government will be extending special privileges to the cast and crew in terms of shoot locations and others. Reports from the film unit say some major action sequences are being planned on the streets of London for which action directors will be flown in from LA. Some streets in the city are expected to be shut down for the shoot. London’s mayor Boris Johnson met Sajid recently and extended his full co-operation, they added.
