Kids! Arent they all sunshine and rainbows and Cadbury dairy milk chocolate? Erm, not my kids. Theyre more along the lines of Brussels sprouts, period pain and treading on Lego. But theyre mine and I love them (allegedly). Having been a mum for more than half of my life, Ive gotten to experience so many highs but more importantly, about a thousand times more lows than I care to remember. Would I change anything? Not one single memory... I take great delight in sitting back and reflecting at the end of each day, knowing that my contribution to the world is 4 shit kids that are strong minded, well mannered, happy and healthy. Some of them are attractive, some, well, not so much but hey, theyve got awesome personalities and by god theyre funny... Ive taught them to laugh at themselves, respect everyone around them and to just enjoy being who they are. This blog is a light hearted account of my daily happenings. The stars of the show are Alanah 22, Curtis 19, Luke 12 and Olivia 1 going on 6 already. Lastly, my beautiful and of course perfect grandson Heath whos 9 weeks older than his Aunty Livvie... Yep, thats right, Im still bangin em out, but I kind of have to cause they just keep getting better!!! I can assure you that some of my parenting methods will have you shaking your head and what kind of mother would ever say their kids are being shit? An honest one thats who... In saying that, therell be moments throughout our journey going forward where youll say aahhh, thank god Im not the only one that feels like that And thats what this blog is about...
