Kingbird Pickup ~ I was at Estell Manor Park with my father and sister this past week and we found these Eastern Kingbirds that were hitting the surface of the water over and over again. We found a spot along the shore to hide in the shade of the trees and waited for a while to see what they were going after. I only managed to get a few of these in focus since they were flying really fast. They were perched overhead so by the time you realized one of them was in the air the moment was usually done. This bird I managed to track just as it hit the water and to my surprise it was picking up a small leaf. Im not sure what the purpose was but it was neat to watch and photograph.
