Kirsten Powers is (and has been) an intelligent, well spoken person. Even when I have (and do) disagree with her on a subject, I have been struck by her intellect and sense of fairness. She holds convictions and does not build straw men up to defeat them. I am joyful that she has found Christ - or better said, that Christ has found her. And let me say right up front, that is NOT because I think she is now on my side. I dont get to have a side. Kirsten is more important than sides. I am joyful for her. I am joyful because she has found peace with God. And that does not change, no matter who she supports in politics, or what position she takes on a political or social issue. I am thankful that the Lord has found her.
