LET’S WAIT AND SEE Women, it could be a set-up but start now - TopicsExpress

LET’S WAIT AND SEE Women, it could be a set-up but start now to push for Executive power. This is neither a campaign for experimentation nor is it a call for equality but an admonition for a worthy trial after we men have severally made it, and almost to a fault. Let’s wait and see. Women in power need to be very careful. Not disregarding her national age, date of her independence and while not comparing her with other nations, Nigeria has come to a stage where we need to put ‘You’ (women) in power more than before. The change for better, the ball for Nigeria’s progress is in your court now. Let’s wait and see if Stella Oduah, doing great changes was not set up. Earlier on a woman had been so “character-corrupted” in the National Assembly. I believe men were behind her set-up to discredit womanhood. Every Corporate set-up requires joint decisions and signatories. When there applies ‘non-settlement’ however, the veil gets lifted in disagreement. This could be Stella’s fate now. Let’s wait and see; women in power be very careful. You are priceless possessions of this great nation. Nigeria, You are not like Biblical Jezebel but you are like Apostle Matthew got inspired to write about the wife of Pilate, the governor and judge (Matt. 27:19). She admonished her husband to absolve himself of the blood of the “Innocent Man”, Jesus Christ. She had dreamt about Jesus that day. You have the Saviour’s touch when He was being crucified and by the Samaritan woman by the well. You are not just useful creating positive touch and change in our Judiciary, Legislature, in sports, entertainment (the Nollywood movie industry especially) and other areas like academics. So this political zone, forces may be setting you up for dismal. Watch it! Watch it, dear women of virtue. Do not lose it, power to make Nigeria better. Here is your chance to prove it that this Nation will be made better through your office. Losing a great opportunity over a mesh of potage is not just worth it. In religious life, ‘You’ pray and participate more, in population, over this nation. Watch it, great Nigerian women in power. A great pointer is also in the Holy Quran about “four perfect women” namely Asiya (Surah 66 Ayat 11-12), Mary, Khadija and Fatima. Asiya, despite the husband’s (Pharaoh’s) “arrogance, godlessness, and wickedness...preserved her faith, her humility and her righteousness” She is credited for her spiritual vision and triumph. Mary, the mother of Jesus, daughter of Imran, is reputed to have “goodly growth, purity and beauty” Khadija, who was mother of Fatima, was wife of the prophet Mohammed. Contemporary examples are within reach, even here in Africa; Liberia’s Mrs. Sirleaf Johnson, British Margaret Thatcher, Germany’s Angela Merkel, Locally. Minister of finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former Vice Chancellor, Professor Mrs. Grace Alele Williams are reputable personalities. Just to name a few have qualified females to be worthy instruments of necessary change for better.
