LITTLE RIVER GRILL UPDATE: WHAT AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! The new owner Tony has a lot to learn about good customer service and good management skills if he wants to succeed.... In the last 10 days - a server, chef, bartender and two kitchen workers have walked out during work hours or never showed back up to their next scheduled work day. The one server that they had left... had tables walk out Friday night partly because there were to many tables for her to handle alone and the kitchen (a 15 year old) could not keep up with the food orders - when customers began leaving - Tony (the owner) insisted that the server pay for the food - when she refused he pitched a fit in front of the customers that were still there and he fired her - refusing to pay her the few tips that she made that day and then threatened to call the police on her.... on Saturday the manager was having to be the server - the (owner Tony) tried to make her pay for the customer walk-outs too - so needless to say they dont have a manager working there any more either... I have a strong feeling that if the sole employee left - the owners 15 year old son (the cook) would walk out if he could. Too bad Tonys wife Shelly wasnt working this weekend as she usually does (without Tony on the premises) maybe they would have some hope left... and employees...
