LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUP TO ADDRESS BULLYING IN SCHOOLS MEETS WITH SCHOOL BOARD -- hoping to open dialogue, to re-evaluate existing bullying policies and procedures, as well as to review current school culture to develop better and more effective mediation procedures and a healthier conflict resolution process--as well as numerous supportive programs that are low budget yet quite effective in preparing our children who may encounter an unsafe school environment for whatever reason, but especially if they are discriminated against in a protected category (disability, race, religion, etc.).
