LONDON: Hundreds of Eurostar passengers faced travel misery on Saturday, as the train operator suspended UK-France services due to a fire in the Channel Tunnel. Kent Police said that the closure was caused by a fire in a truck at the French end of the tunnel. Saturday Eurostar ticket-holders were advised to postpone travel, seek refunds or alternate routes.
