However any accident happening at the end of consumer due to glass cylinder has to be first informed to local police station as well as local LPG Distributor and in turn Distributor firm will inform Insurers of the accident and the insurers after proper survey and investigation will pay the claim to the consumer for all medical expenses as well as up to 25 lacs and more in case of group accident. This message is utmost important to one and all, especially resident Indians in particular and NRIs in general, as every family does have LPG GAS connection in our homes. Though I amnt well conversant in Hindi script, I could make out that there is automatic fire insurance cover for every cylinder owner family individually as also group insurance cover upto Rs.40 lacs and Rs.50 lacs respectively, which fact no consumer has so far been highlighted or made known by the respective gas companies as I could make out from the last 3 three words yeh jaankari chupathe hain. THEREFORE PLEASE READ THE MESSAGE NECESSARILY!!! अगर आपके पास है एलपीजी कनेक्शन तो यह जानकारी जरुर रखिये ! क्या आप जानते हैं कि एलपीजी कनेक्शन के साथ आपको इंश्योरेंस का लाभ भी मिलता है। शायद नहीं। दस में आठ उपभोक्ताओं को यह नहीं पता, लेकिन आप जान लें कि एलपीजी कनेक्शन के साथ ही आपका बीमा हो जाता है। गैस सिलेंडर से दुर्घटना होने की स्थिति में आपको 40 लाख रुपए तक का क्लेम मिल सकता है। इतना ही नहीं सामूहिक दुर्घटना की स्थिति में क्लेम की राशि 50 लाख रुपए तक हो सकती है। दुर्घटना के बाद इलाज का खर्च गैस कंपनी उठाती है... लेकिन प्रायोगिक रूप से ऐसा नहीं होता। जानकारी के अभाव में न तो उपभोक्ता इसकी सूचना कंपनी को नहीं देते। सरकार और गैस कम्पनी उपभोक्ता से यह जानकारी छुपाते है.
