LPR is closed to intakes until further notice ... We have pulled out all the stops and have taken many dogs in need this week that others could not help ... 3 momma with babies from MAS will be safe ... Strays from several counties are safe with LPR .. We are taking 8 from a very high kill shelter in Alabama that is dear to my heart ... We left behind there 10 rott/ hound very young pups and several beautiful 3-4 month old weim pups that will most likely be euthanized tomorrow ...we tried , I begged for rescue to step up ... Everyone is full and broke ... We all do what we can do .. To take more than we can care for is wrong... Let me ask you please dont tag any of the LPR members ... We want to help and it hurts us that we cant !
