Ladies and gentlemen, I have just created a page where I will discuss issues pertaining to public matters that include faith, politics, Economics, development, and any other ideas that is helpful to the well being of the Society. Kenya Today: I am in solidarity with all my Kenyan people who are grieving the lives of many due Al-Shabaab. From what I understand that group does not reflect the views of all Muslims but rather a radical group. I think any leader should be careful and not condemn all Muslims. We need to seek the help of moderate Muslims to defeat the radical groups. Let us hope that the new appointees to replace Kimaiyo and and Ole Senku will bring some new perspective in dealing with insecurity in the country. I hope we understand that insecurity of that level takes advantage of the existing discontent in the country around the issues of corruption and poverty. I dont see how insecurity when these two twin ailments are prevalent in the country. The sacking of Ole Senku and Kimaiyo will not address such concerns. It is incumbent upon those in power to address this matter broadly. It is really a matter of Justice.You can see here that I have expanded the matter of insecurity to include unequal distribution of resources(i.e salaries) and development priorities. Development such as good roads, schools should be directed around the border between Kenya and Somalia, and other communities who have been left behind since independence. Those people do not pay attention to the great speech that President Kenyatta gave to the nation on Monday.It is time to reduce the politicking and implement policies and put the resources where it deserves. Our army should leave Somalia and guard the borders and use the money to build schools along the borders. that will reduce terrorist activities. Learn from American occupation in Afghanistan and Iraq. It was expensive and unsuccessful.
