Lady: Why do you like me? I mean, why me out of all people? What is it about me that makes you like me so much? You’re a good looking man. I’m sure there are a lot of women out there who like you and I’m sure you’d be able to get any one of them if you wanted to. So why me? What makes me different from them? I’m not that pretty. I’m not that smart. I’m not that interesting. I’m plain and I’m boring. I also have a lot of problems. I’m crazy at times, and not the good kind of crazy either. I have trust issues. I get suspicious quickly. I get jealous easily. I’m confusing and I don’t know what I want at times. I over think and over analyze everything. I’m selfish even when I know I’m not supposed to be. I’m complicated and difficult even when I’m being treated right. I’m distant even when I know I shouldn’t be. I’m awkward even when I should be feeling comfortable. I’m just weird overall and most likely, I’m gonna end up annoying you, upsetting you, might even break your heart without even trying. So, again, I ask you, why me? Man: Why do I like you? It’s because of everything you just told me. You may not think you’re pretty, but I think you’re beautiful. I like you for all of your flaws. Is that weird? To me, your flaws are what makes you real to me. You aren’t like all of these other women who try to put up a front and put on an act to make themselves seem perfect. You don’t pretend to be something you’re not in the beginning and then show your true colors after awhile. I admire that so much about you. And it’s not like I’m expecting the perfect relationship with you. I know we’re gonna argue, we’re gonna fight, we’re gonna have disagreements, we’re gonna get at each other’s throats, we’re gonna hate each other at times. I also know it won’t always be like that because I know we can be happy together. I know it won’t be easy, but luckily, I think you’re worth it so I’m willing. I just hope that you’re willing to give me a chance to prove that to you.
