We continue into Switzerland and onto Werdenberg. We continue on a scenic drive through Appenzeller Land breaking the journey at the base of Santis Mountain, where time will be given for lunch and for those who would like can take the cablecar to the summit (Additional Cost). Our excursion today takes us the shorelines of Lake Constance (Bodensee). We firstly take the Swiss shoreline to the German town of Konstanz. From here we cross the lake by ferry to Meersburg considered to be the most charming of the towns on Lake Constance. Free time will be given to admire both upper and lower town before we drive by way of Friedrichshafen on to Lindau. A ride on the famous Glacier Express train, as we travel to Andermatt with dramatic views along the way with an included 3 course lunch on board. An excursion to the lakeside city of Lucerne, famous for its medieval Chapel Bridge. We then board a boat on the lake for a cruise to the foot of Mount Pilatus. From the foot of the lake, we take the world`s steepest cogwheel railway to the summit of Mount Pilatus with its fantastic views over the whole region. An excursion into the Bernese Oberland. We drive over the Brunig Pass to Brienz, we then drive along the shores of Lake Brienz, to Interlaken and to Wilderswil.
