Last Friday, I dressed up as Sandy Claus, Santas sister. The - TopicsExpress

Last Friday, I dressed up as Sandy Claus, Santas sister. The children were already excited about Christmas break. While I walked around speaking to them and hugging them, God spoke to me through these children & I must share His message. As the children watched me, the sweet, innocent, hopeful look in their eyes touched my heart deeply. It wasnt just a look that expected toys from Santa - it was so much more than that. It was a look/plea that asked for hope & goodness. Our children trust us to give them hope: hope for love, safety, security, guidance, happiness, kindness, & a good future. Do our/my words & actions give them hope? One of the biggest problems in this world is that people have lost hope. Jesus is our Hope. He has given us hope for eternal life & love. We are to care for children & never be the cause for their loss of hope. Last week, someone very wise told me not to let anyone take my joy. Do we/I make Gods hope, truths, & promises part of who we are/I am & how we/I live? God has entrusted ALL of us with the care of His children. We are to be lights to guide them so that they will not stumble into darkness & lose their joy & hope. If you are not already involved with children in some way, I encourage you to find a way to do so. They are looking to us to show them the way. We must not fail them.
