Last chance for early bird Thank you to all who have replied if this is a duplicate sorry. The weekend approaches so book now if you intend attending. Clinical Focus Days The first in a series of weekends for practitioners to come and share their clinical experiences, good and bad. A chance to learn new ways of approaching working with certain ‘difficult’ clients and learn new skills of engagement. I am open to the topics being suggested by practitioners for future weekends. ‘Feeling Down in the Mouth’ July 13-14th Intra-oral work is an invaluable tool to have for use in certain circumstances when it is clinically indicated. Some biodynamic cranial practitioners believe that they do not need to have these skills but the Inherent Treatment Plan may directly indicate this work. This is especially the case with facial neuralgia, ‘clicky jaw’, some eye orbit discomfort, inability to open the mouth and a host of other conditions. In this weekend we will look at various approaches to working intra-orally which can be safe, easy and rewarding work to perform. My suggestion is that you bring questions and concerns about doing intra-oral work so that we can all benefit from experiences where we have felt ‘not up to the job’ as well as our successes. There will be the presentation of anatomy using slides and bones, the practice of different ways to make relationship to the mouth and plenty of space for discussion about when this work is appropriate and when it is not. Venue: 9 Kotare Avenue, Westmere, Auckland Cost: $240 for the weekend (or $200 if booked before 1st July) Contact: simon.gosling@icloud
